State report from teacher survey delves into job satisfaction

In an effort to determine why so many of Georgia’s teachers are leaving the profession, the Georgia Department of Education conducted an online survey of the state’s teachers. The top reason given by survey respondents was the number of mandatory tests and their use in judging job performance.
