Ohio State qualitative inquiry expert speaks in March

Dr. Patti Lather, professor emerita from The Ohio State University’s College of Education and Human Ecology, will present a lecture, “(Post)Critical Methodologies: The Science Possible After the Critiques,” from 10 a.m.-noon on Thursday, Mar. 17, in Room Y/Z at the UGA Hotel and Conference Center.

Lather received a 2015 Lifetime Achievement award in qualitative inquiry, and is a 2010 recipient of the AERA Division B Lifetime Achievement Award. She is also a 2009 AERA (Sister) Fellow and the author of several books. Her expertise centers on cultural foundations, technology, and qualitative inquiry.
