Invited presentation: "Seeing Stars and Reading Books: Promise and Threat of Affect" by Dr. Karen Spector

    Dr. Karen Spector is an associate professor of English education at the University of Alabama. Her presentation will focus on theories of affect in teacher education pedagogy and literacy. Graduate students can join Spector in an informal discussion immediately following the presentation.

    Spector is being hosted by the Feminst-Scholar-Activists (FSA), the Language and Literacy Education Graduate Student Organization (LLEGO), and Dr. Stephanie Jones, ETAP professor.
