Register now for the Foxfire 50th Anniversary Education Conference

In 1966, Foxfire began when a teacher and his students at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School conceived a new approach to teaching and learning. This year, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of that breakthrough moment and 30 years of the Foxfire for Teachers program. Reconnect with Foxfire at the Foxfire Education Conference, June 23-26 at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, where it all began.

Register as an attendee or submit a presentation proposal.

The faculty of the College of Education have been an important part of the Foxfire Education family, so we would be delighted to have you be a part of this celebration, either as an attendee or as a presenter. Conference speakers and session leaders include Carl Glickman, George Thompson, George Wood, and Hilton Smith, as well as Foxfire teachers.

The Foxfire Education Conference is sponsored by Piedmont College, Foxfire Fund Inc., UGA’s College of Education, and Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School.
