Register now for the 2016 College of Education Research Conference. Registration ends at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29

College of Education faculty and students are encouraged to present a poster, attend the keynote, and engage with colleagues to learn more about ongoing research in the College. Your participation will enrich this annual event.

Graduate students are invited to prepare a poster focused on data-based studies, conceptual or philosophical papers, program evaluations, or class projects. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top five posters across the categories considered for awards including:

  • Conceptual/philosophical
  • Mixed methods
  • Qualitative
  • Quantitative

Registration is free.

When: Noon–4 p.m. on Friday, April 1
Where: UGA Hotel and Conference Center

  • Noon–12:45 p.m.: Sign in, poster set up, and refreshments
  • 12:45–1:45 p.m.: Faculty and graduate student poster/structured discussion session 1
  • 12:45–1:15 p.m.: Session A
  • 1:15–1:45 p.m.: Session B
  • 1:45–2 p.m.: Break
  • 2–2:45 p.m.: Keynote address, Observations on Research in the College of Education, Dean Craig H. Kennedy and Karl M. Newell, associate dean for research
  • 2:45–3:45 p.m.: Faculty and graduate student poster/structured discussion session 2
  • 2:45–3:15 p.m.: Session A
  • 3:15–3:45 p.m.: Session B
  • 3:45–4 p.m.: Graduate student poster awards
