Candace Moore named award recipient of the 2016 NASPA Region III Outstanding Contribution to Student Affairs through Teaching

The National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Region III is dedicated to serving the needs of NASPA members in what would broadly be described as the southeastern United States. The organization’s regional challenge is to fulfill the national mission by offering professionally relevant and personally meaningful activities to NASPA members in its geographic area.

Each year, NASPA recognizes outstanding members by honoring individual professionals with regional awards. The Outstanding Contribution to Student Affairs through Teaching Award criteria includes:

  • Contribution to the profession through development of professionals
  • Contribution to the profession through research and publication
  • Contribution to the profession through active involvement with professional organization(s)

Dr. Candace M. Moore, academic professional associate, received the 2016 NASPA Region III Award for Outstanding Contribution to Student Affairs through Teaching. Moore played a vital role in the establishment of the Student Affairs Leadership EdD program at UGA and serves as faculty in the College Student Affairs Administration program in the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services. She will be honored during the annual NASPA Region III Summer Symposium on Sunday, June 12.
