FY17 Innovation Fund grant opportunities
The Innovation Fund has received fiscal year (FY) 2017 state funding to provide grants to eligible organizations focused on planning, implementing, or scaling innovative education programs focused on the following priority areas:
- Applied learning with a focus on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) education
- Birth to age 8 language and literacy development
- Development and replication of blended learning school models
- Teacher and leader development for high-need schools
Note: UGA faculty are eligible to partner with a LEA, RESA, traditional public school or charter school in Georgia to submit a proposal; UGA is not eligible to apply.

August 15: Grant applications due
September 12-16: Phone interviews with highest-scoring applicants
