Research Colloquium Series: Anneliese Singh, April 15

Dr. Anneliese Singh, an associate professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services, will present Research with Transgender People: Supporting Empowerment and Resilience from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 15 in Aderhold Hall Room G5.

Singh will discuss her research over the last 10 years on transgender resilience with youth, people of color, and survivors of trauma. She will also discuss her multi-site (Atlanta, New York, San Francisco) NIH-funded study examining transgender identity development over the lifespan. Singh will describe how researchers can work with transgender people in ways that support empowerment, resilience, and capacity-building.
