Tracy Elder assumes new role in the School of Public and International Affairs

Tracy Elder, College of Education director of educator preparation, will assume a new position in the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) as the executive director of the GLOBIS Center. Her new responsibilities will include managing four existing study abroad programs; working with faculty to develop new international partnerships, exchange programs and study abroad programs; and seeking international grants and funding opportunities. Tracy has made innumerable contributions to the College, and we wish her all the best in her new role.

A celebration honoring Tracy and her contributions will be held on Monday, May 9 from 5–7 p.m. at Highwire, 269 N Hull St, Athens, GA 30601.
