Call for proposals: 3rd annual IDD@UGA Professional Conference

You are invited to the 3rd Annual IDD@UGA Professional Conference, scheduled for Aug. 19-20 in Athens at the UGA Hotel and Conference Center.

Please save the conference dates, and consider submitting a proposal by June 13!

Keynote speakers include:

  • Ron Price, chief learning officer of Yukon Learning (exclusive training partner of Articulate Global)
  • Jan Melcher, director of eastern operations, Georgia Quick Start
  • Bruce Batton, director of northern operations, Georgia Quick Start (Quick Start is the award-winning economic development arm of the Technical College System of Georgia, widely emulated in other states in the U.S.)

IDD@UGA serves not only as an orientation and professional networking event for IDD students, but also as an inexpensive professional development opportunity for all College of Education students and faculty who may want to get involved, as well as higher education institutions, instructional designers, eLearning developers, human resource training specialists, and all kinds of learning professionals.

Online registration is open! Friday dinner, Saturday lunch, and refreshments are all included with registration:

  • Full conference registration: $169
  • Proposal accepted or IDD alumni: $134
  • Friday only or Saturday only: $109
  • UGA faculty, staff, and students: $49
  • Current IDD students & 1st-year IDD alumni: Complimentary
  • Paid workshops (register separately): $44

  • Quick Video Development for Learning, with iPad: Ron Braxley
