Faculty invited to give input on new performance initiative

As requested by the Office of the Provost, the College is working to develop a Faculty Performance Initiative policy that outlines the manner in which we support faculty development by monitoring performance and intervening with support as needed. A draft document, produced by a faculty committee, was shared with department heads and faculty senators this week, and they will be soliciting your input during faculty meetings in the coming weeks. Feedback will be discussed at the October Faculty Senate meeting, and a vote will be taken in Faculty Senate and in Leadership Council in November.
