Innovation in Teaching Conference: Last opportunity to submit a proposal!
On Friday, Oct. 21, the College of Education will host the third annual Innovations in Teaching Conference. This symposium is dedicated to highlighting and celebrating the creative teaching practices of college-level educators from around the Southeast.
Keynote speaker Dr. Lynn Bryan from Purdue University will address the need for encouraging new and experienced educators to be visionaries in their fields. She will stress the crucial need to transfer these visionary qualities to all learners.
College of Education faculty can register for free, UGA faculty and students can receive a reduced rate of $75, and participants from outside UGA are $150.
Proposals are now being accepted for 10-minute presentations and poster displays. The deadline for proposals is Monday, Sept. 19.
