Last chance to register for 'Teaching and Learning Resources' Fall ITT Academy

Registration closes Friday, Sept. 16, for the Fall 2016 Innovation in Teaching and Technology (ITT) Academies and we have a few spaces left in “Teaching and Learning Resources Across Campus.” This track is designed to help faculty identify and use instructional resources available across campus.

This academy will teach about real and virtual resources, learning spaces, and human resources available to support classroom and online instruction. Several campus field trips will be planned. Resources discussed include but are not limited to:

  • Main and Science libraries
  • Center for Teaching and Learning & The Professional Development Schools
  • Office of Service Learning & the Office of Online Learning

ITT Academy sessions will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesdays Sep. 28, Oct. 12, and Nov. 9.

Faculty budgeted for at least 50 percent for instruction will also receive a stipend of $500 (to be used for travel, materials, etc.). Participants who successfully complete the ITT Academy will be expected to attend and present at the 2017 COE Innovation in Teaching conference sponsored by the College of Education.

  • Department/program
  • Confirmation that you are budgeted for at least 50 percent for instruction in order to receive the $500 stipend (faculty only)
  • Confirmation of your intent to attend all of the scheduled ITT Academy Sessions
  • Confirmation of your intent to present at the 2017 COE Innovations in Teaching Conference

The call for applications will remain open through Friday, Sept. 16, with the selection of participants announced by Friday, Sept. 23.
