New books and news from the UGA Libraries

The UGA Libraries, along with other national and international libraries, are participating in LibQUAL, a survey designed to gather and act upon patrons’ opinions on the quality of library services. The survey will be open from Sept. 19-30 and will take around 5-10 minutes to complete. We encourage you to add comments at the end of the survey in addition to answering the survey questions. Completion of the survey will automatically enter you in a drawing to win one of ten $25 gift certificates to Walmart.

If you would like to participate in this voluntary survey, you can access it online here. Your responses will be completely confidential. No identifying links between responses and the individual responding will be retained. Please be assured that there is no foreseeable risk involved in taking this survey. The Libraries will store this data along with data from earlier and later editions of this survey for comparison purposes to determine if we are successfully continuing to improve the services you need.

If you have any questions about the survey or any difficulty in accessing it, please email Diana Hartle or call 706-542-6399. You can learn more about LibQUAL here.

The new UGA Libraries website is in beta and available for testing here; your feedback is very valuable, and we hope you’ll share your views!

Lists of new titles recently received in the UGA Libraries are available on the New Books & CML News page.

We also have a list of just a few of many books that may be of interest to you. Titles are divided by subject area.
