Now seeking proposals for edTPA Technical Assistance Summit

Please join us for the 2016 edTPA Fall Technical Assistance Summit scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Middle Georgia State University’s Professional Sciences Conference Center, 100 University Parkway, Macon.

As we work to keep the focus on making a positive impact on the academic growth and learning of all P-12 students, the summit theme of “Leveraging Educative edTPA Experiences and Data to Inform Programs and Practice” is intended to foster the educative value of edTPA by connecting successful edTPA implementation strategies, resulting data, and pre-service experiences for candidates’ in-service practice, EPP programs and partnerships, and collaborative support during induction.

For the meeting, SCALE and Evaluation Systems group of Pearson(ES) will be joining Georgia EPPs and P-12 presenters, as well as out-of-state colleagues, for a day of sharing and learning focused on the educative implementation of edTPA, including use of edTPA data and experience for continuous improvement in pre-service and in-service practice. edTPA coordinators, EPP faculty, and P-12 partners are especially encouraged to attend.

Event registration is open. Presentation proposals are being accepted through Nov. 7. There is no registration fee, but you must register by Nov. 18 or until meeting space capacity is reached. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. A working lunch will be provided.
