Foxfire at 50: Stories of culture panel discussion featuring professor emeritus Carl Glickman
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Foxfire approach to teaching and learning, the College of Education, the Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communications, and the Special Collections Library will host a panel discussion, Foxfire at Fifty: Stories of Culture, 11:15 a.m-noon on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the Special Collections Library auditorium.
Panelists for the event are Carl Glickman, College of Education professor emeritus and Foxfire board member; Christian Lopez, Special Collections Library oral historian and media archivist; and Katie Lunsford, College of Education senior majoring in athletic training and former Foxfire Magazine contributor.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to view the Foxfire exhibit, Foxfire: 50 Years of Cultural Journalism Documenting Folklife in the North Georgia Mountains, on display at the Special Collections Library through Dec. 16.
