Today at 11: Learn how !BIEN! team conducts psychological research, service, and outreach to the Georgia Latino/a population

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion presents a session to highlight the research and advocacy work of the !BIEN! research team, a student-faculty initiative. Founded in 2010, !BIEN! has focused on raising awareness, providing bilingual and/or Spanish language counseling at the Athens Latino Center for Education and Services (ALCES) and Mercy Hospital, teaching a First Year Odyssey seminar, and conducting research with Latino/a people in Georgia. We will review the lessons learned from our work, specifically focusing on undocumented and mixed documentation status Georgia families.
