Chili Cook-Off and Dessert Bake-Off is this Friday

The Chili Cook-Off and Dessert Bake-Off for faculty and staff is 11:30-1:30 on Friday, Nov. 11 in Aderhold Hall Room 319. I hope you all are starting to get excited! If you haven’t noticed, we have made some big changes to the event this year that will make for a great event!

First off, we’ve added another category to the competition so more people can participate. Some of us are better at baking than cooking, so we thought why not add dessert? Yum!

Secondly, we all have a special place in our hearts for the veterans who fight to keep us safe, and we want to show them some love! Invite a veteran in your family so we can honor their sacrifice to our country by giving them a gift, and letting them taste test all of the delicious chilis and desserts. Even if your veteran can’t come please still send us their information so we can send you home with a gift to give them.

We are having a 1st and 2nd place prize for each category.

Chili Cook-Off:

• 1st place is a football signed by Coach Smart
• 2nd place is a UGA coffee mug with an assortment of k-cups

Dessert Bake-Off:

• 1st place is a diffuser with an assortment of essential oils
• 2nd place is a UGA coffee mug with an assortment of k-cups

We will also be raffling off a few prize items, such as a $50 gift card to Heirloom Café, and a dinner for two at Depalma’s. Come taste test and vote on your favorites! Each person will be given two tickets to vote with. One for chili and one for dessert.
