FLSA leave payout option

This option will be open through the beginning of March, but the deadline to submit a form to Andy Garber to ensure payout on November payroll is Tuesday, Nov. 8.

UGA will provide a one-time option of cashing out up to 56 hours of accrued annual leave for staff converting to salaried bi-weekly payroll due to FLSA changes. This option can be claimed through March 10 for payout in the month of your choosing between November and June. Therefore, if an affected employee does not have the full available leave balance by Nov. 1, they may be able to take advantage of this option after later leave accruals.

Download the form to specify your selections; it should be signed and submitted to Andy Garber in Aderhold Hall Room G12H by the specified deadlines to ensure that leave payout is processed.
