This presentation will discuss the IES-funded Goal 3 evaluation study that examined the impact of instructional conversation (IC) on the academic outcomes of English-language learners (ELLs) and non-English-language learners. This discussion will include the data sources used, the results and the overall impact instructional conversation has on academic outcomes of all students.
