Attend a workshop on promotion and tenure

The Office of Faculty and Staff Services will host workshops for faculty regarding promotion and tenure on Monday, Feb. 6, in Aderhold Hall Room G23.

Workshops include:

• 1-2 p.m.: Promotion to associate professor and tenure for tenure-track faculty
• 2-3 p.m.: Promotion for the second rank (e.g., clinical associate professor, associate research scientist) for career-track faculty)
• 3-4 p.m.: Promotion to the highest rank for faculty in all tracks (e.g., professor, clinical professor, senior research scientist, senior lecturer)

Workshops are open to all faculty who are interested. Those who anticipate being reviewed for one of the above actions in 2017-18 or 2018-19 are especially encouraged to attend. Mentors and department heads are welcome as well.

The workshops will consist of an informative presentation, advice from colleagues who have been through the process, a Q&A, and time for attendees to share information and strategies with one another.
