Have lower back pain? Join study to help relieve it

The Center for Physical Activity and Health and the Exercise Is Medicine on Campus Program are offering a FREE program to faculty and staff within the College of Education. Called Project Posture Dawgs, this six-week exercise program is designed to relieve lower back and hip pain, enhance posture, and improve physical function.

Participation involves attending one supervised exercise class per week, accessing online instructional videos, and completing “exercise homework” three times per week. Pain and function will be assessed before and after the program. Participants will receive a free tool kit including a foam roller.

All sessions and testing will take place in the Center for Physical Activity and Health within the academic wing of the Ramsey Center (north side). Supervised class days/times will offer several options to accommodate the work day. The program will begin mid-February.

Enrollment is limited, so please
