Dotts continues scholarly conference's long tradition

Brian Dotts, associate professor in the Department of Educational Theory and Practice, hosted the annual Southern History of Education Society conference on March 10 and 11 in the UGA Hotel and Conference Center.

This scholarly conference included about 65 scholars and graduate students throughout the South, the Midwest, and New England. The Southern History of Education Society has been meeting annually since the early 1970s and is funded by the University of Georgia Graduate School and the Carl Glickman Faculty Fellow Award.
