Developing a Better Understanding of Reading and Reading Interventions

Scott Ardoin, head of the Department of Educational Psychology, will provide an overview of his research that has employed alternative procedures for assessing the effects of reading interventions, how that research led to the development of a new line of research examining comprehension assessment procedures, and the implications of recent findings to reading comprehension instruction.
