William T. Grant Foundation Scholars Program internal competition
Attention early career faculty: The annual announcement for the William T. Grant Scholars Program has been released. The College of Education can allow one nominee to go forward to complete a proposal for submission. We will hold an internal competition to choose the nominee for this funding cycle.
Review the program website for William T. Grant Foundation funding priorities, the Scholars Brochure, and FAQs to determine if your research is aligned with the Foundation’s funding interests.
Note: Scholars Program applicants should have a track record of conducting high-quality research and an interest in pursuing a significant shift in their trajectories as researchers. Proposed research plans must address questions of policy and practice that are relevant to the Foundation’s focus areas.
Pay particular attention to the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicant must have received his/her terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., M.D.) within seven years of submitting the application. For doctoral degrees, this is the date the degree was conferred.
- The fellowship must advance the foundation’s interest in understanding programs, policies, and practices that reduce inequality or improving the use of research evidence.
