Take part in new Clarke County School District action teams

Dr. Demond Means, the incoming superintendent for the Clarke County School District, has asked the College of Education to assist with the formation of action teams to conduct a scan of the district to inform his work. Teams include:

• Instruction and Assessment
• Budget and Resource Allocation
• Social, Emotional, and Mental Health
• School Safety and Climate
• Equity Practices
• Active Engagement Practices

These teams will be comprised of UGA faculty, Clarke County School District employees, parents, and community members. Only one to two faculty will be placed on each of these six teams.
