UGA authentication site will get new look

Starting July 15, UGA’s Central Authentication Service will have a major visual change (you can preview the change online). This is the service that requires you to type your MyID and password in order to log in to many UGA websites. The change will align it with UGA’s new branding standards (right now, it has the EITS logo).

Note these two key points to confirm you’re using the correct site:

• Look for the URL in the browser—it should say cas.uga.edu or cas2.uga.edu.
• Check for a secure connection with “https” in the browser bar. Your browser may display a lock bar in the browser bar.

When in doubt, don’t type your username (MyID) and password. Instead,
