From the Dean: Faculty Senate president

Jim Garrett, associate professor and graduate coordinator in the Department of Educational Theory and Practice, has assumed the position of Faculty Senate president for the College of Education. Jim served as president-elect last year and has graciously agreed to step into this role a year early due to the recent appointment of Ellen Evans as associate dean for research and graduate education.

I look forward to collaborating with Faculty Senate this year to move the College of Education forward.
