Online Learning Fellows 2018 funding opportunity
Faculty are invited to apply for an internal competition to participate in the UGA Online Learning Fellows Program for 2017-2018. The college can submit one application for consideration by the university. Faculty who are interested in this competition must be willing to teach the course to be revised during the summer 2018 term.
Faculty must also be willing to submit an e-suffix course proposal through the CAPA system by Aug. 25. Courses considered for this program should be high-demand undergraduate courses. The faculty member who receives this award will be paid for one course (up to $8,000) for summer teaching and will receive one course release in the spring 2018 term jointly paid for by the Office of Online Learning and the College of Education.
The selected faculty member will also need to participate in a kickoff meeting on Sept. 6. Faculty will have access to instructional designers to complete a project plan in the Fall 2017 semester. Internal applications for this competition are due to
