Opportunity to participate in physical-activity and nutrition-based project

The Department of Kinesiology at UGA seeks post-menopausal female employees of UGA between the ages of 50 and 65 who are sedentary and non-smokers to participate in a physical activity and nutrition study to examine its effects on work productivity: Project ENERGY. Participants will be enrolled for 12 weeks spread over 4.5 months and all testing will be performed by the Department of Kinesiology.

Participants will be asked to participate in a supervised exercise program with a small educational section regarding physical activity and nutrition.

Upon completion of the project, participants can be provided with a free 2-month membership to the Center for Physical Activity and Health (CPAH), which is valued at $70.
