Join the Campaign for Charities

Dear UGA faculty and staff:

It is my honor and privilege to announce that the 2018 UGA Campaign for Charities has officially launched!

This year’s theme of “State Change, Pledge Today!” encourages us to unite with our UGA community and Georgians across the state to do a great deal of good by boldly declaring change that positively improves the lives of others. Over the 25 years I have been a part of the UGA family, I have witnessed the passion the University community possesses for assisting our neighbors and how generously we respond to those in need. Now more than ever, those in our local and state communities need our help and support.

Whether you would like to help put food on the table for a child who is hungry, create a place to call home, provide healthcare to the underserved, or provide much needed assistance from a natural disaster, each and every gift is significant in creating positive change. To make a gift to one or more of the over 1,400 participating charities, please complete the pledge card included in the packet you recently received, or fill out the online version.

As an added incentive, we will have special drawings for prizes among individuals who submit pledge forms-whether or not a gift is made-or pledge electronically. Gifts include tickets to athletic events, parking passes, and other fun prizes. Follow the campaign on Facebook, where we will be announcing the winners.
