Invitation to participate in Crucial Conversations: The Crisis in Black Education
The Athens Interest Group of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History in alliance with community partners invites you to a community input and engagement session on the Crisis in Black Education. A keynote address will be given by Clarke County School District superintendent Dr. Demond Means and will be followed by discussion.
The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 1-3 p.m. at the Athens Community Career Academy in the HT Edwards Building, 440 Dearing Extension.
