Media mention: Inside Higher Ed features Linder's research, book

In a column recently published by Inside higher Ed, Chris Linder, an associate professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services, argues that we should challenge dominant ways of thinking in order to expose hidden assumptions about campus sexual violence that are often taken for granted.

The essay, written with Jessica C. Harris, draws from their experience writing their 2016 book “Intersections of Identity and Sexual Violence on Campus: Centering Minoritized Students’ Experiences.” “We take three seemingly straightforward questions that researchers must re-evaluate with a critical lens in an attempt to eradicate—not just prevent—campus sexual violence,” writes Linder and Harris.
