Registration for the edTPA P12 and EPP Summit is now open!
Registration is open for the Georgia Professional Standards Commission’s edTPA P12 & EPP Summit. The event is 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in Macon.
The event offers a full day of general and concurrent sessions focused on the following sample topics across the teacher professional continuum:
- Educator Preparation Providers (EPPs) and P-12 partners working together in strong partnerships to inform high quality teaching, including how edTPA can be used to bridge pre-service preparation and in-service practice
- Connecting edTPA to Georgia’s Teacher Assessment Performance Systems (TAPS), Professional Learning Plans (PLPs), InTASC Model Core Teaching Standards, the Danielson Group’s Framework for Teaching, and State and National Standards
- Strengthening Individualized Professional Learning Plans (PLPs)/Induction Support
- Certification updates
- Using edTPA to inform preparation programs
- Avenues for meaningful dialogue about practice and problems of practice in preparation, induction, and retention
- An intentional focus on the equity indicators within the rubric level progressions to help ensure the needs of each P-12 learner are met
- And more
There is no registration fee for this event. Participants must provide their own transportation and a working lunch will be provided. Please share this invitation with school partners who might be interested.
