DEI Speaker Series: Using Reflective Structure Dialogue for Courageous Conversations
Generating Trust, Resiliency, and Collaborative Action
- When: Noon-1 p.m. March 1
- Where: Aderhold Hall Room G23
- Facilitators: Raye Rawls and Janette Hill
Difficult conversations in the classroom and on campuses are challenging the way we teach and learn and work with groups of individuals with different values and ways of being. The increased polarization that we see in the larger community is reflected in our classrooms, on our campuses, and where we work. Reflective structure dialogue gives faculty, administrators, and students strategies they can use to enhance the learning environment by creating a space to hear and understand things that are hard to digest and to reflect on one’s own perspectives.
This is an introductory conversation about the reflective structure dialogue process, so participants will be encouraged to pursue the full workshop.
