Self- and community-focused interventions play an important part in liberation work, but the intention for the intervention can make the difference between deepening internalized oppression or increasing the capacity for resistance.

This talk addresses the need for healing and details various coping, care, and healing strategies that prepare people of color to continue resisting, liberating, and/or creating change.

Facilitated by Dr. Candice Hargons, assistant professor of counseling psychology, University of Kentucky
