From the (interim) dean: Moving forward

Dear members of the COE community,

I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to serve the College of Education as its 16th dean. I want to thank the search committee members for their work on behalf of the college and to thank each of you who participated in the process. As you know, this college has been my academic home for 24 years, and it is my alma mater. I care deeply about the success of the people who make up this great college and university.

I look forward to working with you to take the college to new places by engaging you in a collaborative, problem-solving approach to planning our future. Please watch this space in the weeks ahead for information about opportunities to provide your input into both the short-term and long-term activities of our college.

I wish everyone a smooth end to the semester, and I hope you have plans for some restful time in the weeks ahead.
