Seeking faculty and courses for possible winter break program in Costa Rica
The Office of International Education is looking into creating a winter break study abroad program at UGA Costa Rica. This would be a two- to three-week intensive program. Contingent upon faculty interest, plans are to launch the program during winter break 2019/2020.
The office now seeks two to three faculty members who would be interested in teaching one three-credit-hour class each. The Office of International Education plans to offer two to three classes taught by separate faculty members. Students would have the option of taking only one class, so the classes need not be related to each other and could be in entirely different disciplines.
Final details are still tentative, but right now the Office of International Education needs to gauge faculty interest. If you are interested,
please email Hilda Mata
, director of UGA Costa Rica.
