RWJF Policies for Action: Policy and law research to build a culture of health
What policies, laws, and regulations can help improve health and health equity? As policymakers experiment and redesign policies in a multitude of sectors, research will be critical to uncover what these changes mean for the nation’s collective health.
Policies for Action, an RWJF signature research program, is funding $2 million toward research on the impact of national, state, or local policies on health and health equity—including $450,000 to study what happens when state governments seek to nullify or preempt local laws.
Proposals from teams representing sectors and disciplines traditionally not associated with health are strongly encouraged.
