Sign up now to take part in evidence-based intervention and enrichment in early literacy, speech and language production, and social communication for children in a creative, interactive atmosphere.
Choose from three programs, which take place in Aderhold Hall.
- Puppy Talk (June 18-June 29, 9-11:30 a.m.): Intensive program for children aged 3-6 years ($500)
- Smooth Dawgs (July 2-July 13, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.): Intensive practice in fluent speech for adolescents and adults who stutter.
- Big Dawgs (July 16-July 27, 9 a.m.-noon): Intensive program for children entering grades 2-5
Programs meet Monday through Friday.
Puppy Talk and Big Dawgs include evidence-based, client-centered intervention, and enrichment in early literacy, speech, language, and social communication for children in a creative, interactive atmosphere. Children without specific speech or language needs are welcome and will receive developmentally appropriate language and literacy enrichment.
Smooth Dawgs focuses on prolonged speech, a research-supported approach to smooth, fluent speech. Clients learn speech fluency skills and learn to manage their stuttering in a supportive, outcomes focused context. Financial assistance and scholarships may be available.
