Alumna, graduate student take on new community roles

Two women with connections to the College of Education were recently elected to new roles in the community.

LaKeisha Gantt, (MEd ’03, PhD ’10) will be representing District 7 for the Clarke County School Board, while Mariah Parker, a doctoral student in the Department of Language and Literacy Education, was elected to represent District 2 on the Clarke County Board of Commissioners.
