Seeking a new associate dean of faculty and staff services

We are seeking a new associate dean to join the college leadership team. This will be a 50 percent-time position, with the other 50 percent of the person’s time to be negotiated across teaching and research.

In this position, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Plan and carry out mentoring and professional development programs for faculty, staff, and administrators to support their success
  • Facilitate the promotion and tenure process at the college level
  • Facilitate faculty and staff searches
  • Facilitate the faculty awards process
  • Work with the human resources coordinator to support faculty and staff with processes such as leave, third-year review, annual evaluation, reclassification, post-tenure review, graduate faculty status, telecommuting, flex time, and EOO matters.
  • Collaborate with fellow associate deans, department heads, members of the Leadership Council, and the HR coordinator to plan and enact programming for faculty and staff.

  • Collaborating with a range of constituents, including staff, faculty, and administrators both inside and outside the college
