Summer, fall programs available for faculty development

The Office of Faculty Affairs is offering summer workshops and fall cohort programs for faculty development, learning, and success. Find more detailed descriptions of our workshops and faculty learning cohort programs online. Note the cohort programs require advanced registration and/or nomination (deadlines listed below).

Workshops

• The Summer Faculty Learning Series will continue through July, focusing on reflecting, rejuvenating, and deep learning. The next workshop, Responsible Conduct of Research and Research Ethics, begins June 14.
• If you’re getting ready to plan your faculty searches for fall, consider scheduling a Faculty Search Committee Training for your search committee in advance of reviewing applications. to schedule a training.

Faculty Learning Cohorts

• The Creating a Sustainable Writing Program is helping scores of faculty improve their writing productivity. The fall cohort will begin Aug. 7 with bi-weekly meetings thereafter. Advanced registration is encouraged.
