Academic titles being cloned with fake information

The Association of College & Research Libraries recently announced that there is a new “publisher,” Scitus Academics, which is cloning and reissuing books published by houses, such as Routledge, John Benjamins, and Sage with fake author information. The issue as it stands now mainly concerns titles on Asian studies and the social sciences, but may spread to other subject areas as well.
