DAWG Talk{.image_right .max_width_30}

In this DAWG Talk, presenters will discuss the learning opportunities around partnering student education with community exercise programs for people living with disabilities. The presenters will use a case study about the UGA course, Introduction to Wellness for People with Disabilities, to bring alive how students, staff, and faculty can raise their awareness about ability privilege and disability-affirming advocacy.

  • Wednesday, Sept. 19
  • 5-6 p.m.
  • Aderhold Hall Room 223

DAWG Talk is a collaboration between the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Office of Student Services, which seeks to engage students, faculty, and staff in conversations that matter related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. By encouraging courageous conversations, we hope to attract populations from all walks of life and offer a unique lens and a fresh perspective on those around us. Students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are welcome to attend.
