Apply for the Active Learning Summer Institute by Feb. 1

The University has designated funds for the 2019 Active Learning Summer Institute to help faculty incorporate active learning strategies into their courses. Applications are due Friday, Feb. 1.

Current full-time faculty (tenure track or non-tenure track) who are teaching in the 2018-2019 academic year may apply. The Summer Institute, divided into two three-week programs, will be hosted by the Center for Teaching and Learning. Faculty will participate in workshops and receive extensive support in designing or re-designing a course around active learning principles and practices. Faculty selected for the Institute will receive a $7,500 stipend.
