The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and Libraries are pleased to announce that the second annual Affordable Learning Institute is scheduled for Feb. 4. The Institute is designed to provide faculty with an overview of the open and affordable educational resources available and support them in adopting and incorporating these resources into their courses. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions about the current affordable learning grants, such as the Affordable Learning Georgia Textbook Transformation Grants and the new Provost’s Affordable Course Materials Grant. In this program, the new Provost Affordable Learning grants program will also be discussed, and details on how faculty can apply for a grant will be shared. Jeff Gallant from Affordable Learning Georgia will discuss the ALG grants program.

With these two programs and support from CTL and the Libraries, there are many opportunities for faculty to implement affordable learning materials in their courses.
