Apply for the Active Learning Summer Institute by Feb. 1

Funds for the 2019 Active Learning Summer Institute have been designated by President Morehead to help full-time faculty (tenure track or non-tenure track) teaching in the 2018-2019 academic year to incorporate active learning strategies into their courses.

Hosted by the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Active Learning Summer Institute is divided into two three-week programs for 12 faculty (24 total) in either Maymester or Short Session I to help redesign courses and implement evidence-based instructional strategies that engage students in the learning process. Workshops and extensive support in designing or re-designing a course around [active learning principles and practices](https://ctl.uga.edu/active-learning) are included in the ALSI.
