2019-2020 Clarke County School District Partnership

Over the 2019-2020 academic year, the Clarke County School District will develop a plan for opportunities for UGA faculty to be involved in addressing critical needs within the school district. This reframing will center on identifying the greatest areas of need for students, teachers, and families and developing partnerships around specified projects to support those needs.

In recognition of the time it takes to build meaningful relationships in schools, the district plans to focus resources on supporting the continuation of existing professors-in-residence for 2019-2020, while identifying additional ways in which other faculty can engage in research and professional learning projects that support district needs. Based on this new direction, there will not be an open call for new professors-in-residence for 2019-2020.
