Please express your interest in attending by sending an

by Monday, Jan. 7. Additional ticket sales information can be found on UGA Today’s website.

Important parking information

Attendees should note that the Tate Center parking deck fills up very fast before the event, and the lines to use the Tate Center elevators and enter the Grand Hall can also be long. Therefore, we strongly advise you arrive early, carpool, and/or take the bus so you can enjoy the start of the event.

Freedom Breakfast speaker

Tiffany Cochran Edwards, national brand manager and public relations manager for The Cochran Firm, will give the keynote address at the breakfast. Edwards spent 17 years as a news anchor, 10 of those in the Atlanta area, before she transitioned to public relations. In addition to leading PR efforts at The Cochran Firm, her work supports the Johnnie L. Cochran Jr. Brain Tumor Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The center is named for her late father, the legendary attorney who died following complications from a brain tumor in 2005. Edwards has dedicated her life to continuing her father’s legacy both in law and in philanthropic endeavors. Edwards lives in Atlanta with her husband and daughter.

The Freedom Breakfast honors the legacy of the late civil rights leader and recognizes community members dedicated to furthering race relations, justice, and human rights with the President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award.
